Zhuang who hails from the state of Selangor, first released his debut album in 1986. Todate, he has released 30 albums and won 150 championships in singing competitions organised by various Malaysian associations. His songs which focus on cultural elements have always been a great hit among his fans. Earlier last year, he celebrated his glorious 20 years in showbiz with a concert at Genting International Showroom. That concert itself was a charity concert, as the veteran singer has always had a soft spot for the less fortunate.
His popularity has extended beyond Malaysian borders, he has even established fan clubs in Singapore and Indonesia. Zhuang enjoys a loyal fan base, especially among fans who are in the mature age group. Zhuang is no stranger to performing in Genting Highlands, yet each time he comes, he never fails to draw in a good crowd.
