A1 Team Malaysia persevered through one of the most challenging weekends of the team's A1GP Series career in the Czech Republic today.  The Brno circuit hosted the second event in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport calendar this weekend and A1 Team Malaysia had hoped to repeat the success of the first visit here last season, when driver Alex Yoong and his team scored two victories.

 

However, a series of problems with mechanical failures, small mistakes and a dose of bad luck conspired to present the team with a reversal of fortunes and low grid slots for today's races. Undaunted, the team put their best efforts into the race performances, with Yoong finishing 17th in the Sprint race and 14th in the Feature race.
